- All-in-One HiFi Taken Further: P1 MAX unites a tube preamp, DAC and headphone amp to cover most everyday HiFi needs. Beyond P1, it strengthens each core stage with CS43198 decoding, an ECC83 tube and dual TPA6120 headphone drive, while Bluetooth 5.2, PC-USB, optical, coaxial and RCA IN cover your main digital and analog sources.
- Tube Character with More Control: A custom ECC83 brings warmth and body with 0.0004% THD+N and ≥123dB SNR. Alongside Treble/Bass control, Super Bass reaches deeper for added low-end weight and fullness. BYPASS removes the tube, tone and volume stages when you prefer less tube coloration and a more direct signal path.
- More Freedom for Digital Audio: Decodes PC-USB, optical and coaxial up to 24-bit/192kHz, bringing PCs, TVs and streamers directly into your stereo system without a separate DAC. Bluetooth 5.2 with QCC304X supports aptX and aptX HD for wireless playback from phones and tablets, while one-touch Bluetooth Reset streamlines re-pairing.
- True Balanced Drive for Serious Listening: The 4.4mm True Balanced output delivers up to 1000mW, giving demanding headphones more drive and headroom. A 3.5mm single-ended output and 16–600Ω support broaden headphone pairing, while independent headphone volume and selectable headphone/line outputs keep listening flexible.
- Made to Fit Your HiFi System: A SUB OUT with a built-in 150Hz LPF filters the subwoofer feed for straightforward 2.1 expansion. The bottom access window gives direct access to the socketed op-amp for easy swaps without full chassis disassembly. The all-aluminum chassis and distinctive styling sharpen its HiFi look, while physical controls keep adjustments direct.

FAQs
Q: What does BYPASS mode do?
A: BYPASS applies only to RCA OUT, bypassing the tube stage, Main Volume and tone controls. RCA OUT operates at full output level in BYPASS mode, so lower the source or downstream amplifier volume before switching to protect hearing and speakers.
Q: Can the 3.5mm and 4.4mm headphone outputs be used at the same time?
A: For the best listening experience, we recommend using only one headphone output at a time.
Q: Do the Main Volume and tone controls affect all outputs?
A: Yes. Main Volume and Treble / Bass / Super Bass affect all outputs. The dedicated Headphone Volume adjusts the headphone output only.
Q: Can I use a different power adapter?
A: We recommend the supplied DC 12V / ≥2A adapter. If using another adapter, make sure it is a high-quality DC 12V model rated at 2A or higher. Excessive voltage may damage the P1 MAX, while insufficient current may affect normal operation.
Q: Why does P1 MAX use only one ECC83 tube for stereo?
A: ECC83 is a dual-triode tube containing two independent triode sections. P1 MAX uses one section for each channel, allowing a single ECC83 to handle both left and right channels through the tube stage.
Q: Can the ECC83 tube be replaced?
A: Yes. P1 MAX supports compatible tube rolling, including 12AX7, 7025, 6N4 and 5751. Always power the unit off before replacing the tube, and contact us first if you are unsure about compatibility.
Q: Can the op-amp be replaced?
A: Yes, the P1-MAX uses one pluggable NE5532 op-amp, which can be replaced with compatible dual op-amps such as OPA2604, OPA2134, MUSES01, MUSES02 etc.
