- Bring Every Sound into View: Seven VU meter styles turn changing signal levels into smooth, responsive needle motion with a lifelike analog feel, while 2 audio spectrum visualizer modes reveal frequency movement in crisp detail and vivid color. Made for listeners who enjoy watching the signal as much as hearing the sound.
- Tune Every Visual Response: Choose AUX line input for direct response or MIC pickup for convenience. Fine-tune VU motion with gain, damping, and stiffness, while spectrum mode adds 32/64-band detail, response curves, real/smooth response, colors, and peak/fall timing to match your source and style.
- Turn Time Into Desk Ambiance: Give quiet moments their own look with 4 clock styles, 2 animated scenes, and 12 static standby screens. From focused work to late-night gaming or relaxed listening, TX7 stays useful as a desk clock and expressive as visual decor, keeping the setup fresh throughout the day.
- Touch Control Made Effortless: Swipe between display styles, tap into settings, and fine-tune key visuals with on-screen sliders. The responsive touchscreen keeps every change direct and intuitive, so you can refresh the mood, try a new look, or refine the display in seconds.
- Refined Style for Modern Setups: Sandblasted anodized aluminum gives TX7 a refined look and solid feel. Vivid motion, retro VU charm, and changing visuals bring personality to any setup, making it a natural desk centerpiece and a memorable gift for music lovers, gamers, and desk setup fans.

FAQs
Q: Can I import custom images, animations, or display interfaces?
A:
No. TX7 uses built-in display styles and does not support user-imported images, animations, or custom interfaces.
Q: Can I use TX7 with my current audio system?
A:
Yes. Use the included 3.5 mm splitter cable to send one signal to TX7 and the other to your existing audio system.
Q: Why is there no VU or spectrum movement?
A:
Check that the correct input source is selected. For AUX, confirm the cable connection and raise the source volume if needed. For MIC pickup, move TX7 closer to the speaker or increase the gain.
Q: Why does the spectrum still move when no audio is playing?
A: High gain, device noise, cable interference, or ambient sound picked up by the MIC may cause movement. Lower the gain or run noise-floor calibration to reduce unwanted activity.
Q: Why do the two VU meters move differently?
A: In AUX Line Input mode, dual VU meters display the left and right channels separately. Mono sources, uneven channel levels, poor cable contact, or mono adapters can cause different movement or activity on only one side.

Very solid device, great screen
Could be a 5-star device if there where more clock types and VU meters available.
Sleek finish. It'd be great to have the option to also order a black case, not only silver. Very good response times of the analog VU meters, no lag. An option to download other/more meters would be excellent. Anyway, it's a great product as it is. Will probably get another one to be able to select the big VU meters for both channels.
One Happy Gadget Freak here, I selected the TX7 Desktop Display with VU Meter to compliment the other Douk products that adorn my work desk. Since I do a fair amount of audio production, I enjoy seeing my level metering wherever I may be focusing my eyes at any given time, be it on my PC desktop or actual desk top.
The TX7 offers a variety of VU metering options, as well as a selection of clocks to choose from, as well as spectrum display options.
The unit is compact enough to fit under my computer screen, but easily large enough to see from several feet away.
My only issue with the current incarnation of the device is the lack of ease with using the right "Swipe" to return to the *Home* screen. I feel a simple 1-press button on the side or top would be utilitarian in reaching the "Home Screen" to select the various modes.
Granted, I'm 65, and not one of today's youngin's who grew up with the swipe culture, so I'm sure I'm in the minority here.
Also, it would be nice to allow us to customize the standby mode pictures, even if we can't upload our own (yet, anyway) having a site to navigate to & select from a large selection of compatible imagery would be nice, perhaps in a future update of the product?
*Ideally, uploading pictures that fit whatever the prescribed dimensions via the usb-c inputs in the back would be ideal!
I enjoy being an early adaptor of gadgets and tinkering around with them, as such; I'm very happy with the purchase and performance of the TX7 Desktop Display with VU Meter, Spectrum Visualizer & Clock.
Excellently built and a totally mesmerizing gadget! My kids literally cannot take their eyes off it when it's running. The VU meters and spectrum visualizer look incredible on the desk, adding a fantastic vibe to the room. The only minor downside is that I really wish there was a black color option available. Highly recommended nonetheless!
Simply lovely, best little display around
